Meet Kush, Founder of Arctic Studio Gold Coast

Hi, I’m Kushya — but everyone just calls me Kush (yes, my name is totally made up… thanks Mum & Dad 😂). I’m the owner and whitening specialist here at Arctic Studio.

I’ve been a dental nurse for over 13 years, working closely with dentists and patients every day. I’ve seen — and personally experienced — everything from fillings and gum issues to a very dramatic chipped front tooth caused by my morning coffee ☕️.
So trust me… this is a judgment-free zone. I truly understand how nerve-racking dental and cosmetic treatments can feel.

A few things about me:
• I’m dog-obsessed and live with my very lazy German Shepherd, Odin.
• I love running, Pilates, and recently made a humbling return to netball.
• I cannot function without coffee (hence the tooth incident).
• And I’m a natural chatterbox — so working in a job where you can’t talk during treatment is my greatest challenge 😂.

At Arctic Studio, I’ve combined my experience, love for aesthetics, and passion for helping people feel good about their smile. I absolutely adore seeing before-and-afters and watching clients’ reactions when they see their results shine ✨.
